On the auspicious day (28 May 2021)His Lordship Lyonpo Chogyel Dago Ridzin, the Chief Justice of Bhutan inaugurated the new rural water supply scheme in Kana Gewog under Dagana Dzongkhag. The scheme was built by some 70 Desuups as part of the Desuung National Service with technical support from MoWHS and Dzongkhag Engineering Services. It was completed in a record duration of two and half months. Works involved trenching and laying pipes for 11000 meters from source to reservoir tanks, 8400 meters of distribution line, two intake tanks, three reservoir tanks of 30, 20, 12 cum, two pressure break points and fifteen public tap stands in Daleythang, Khagochen and Poongzhi villages benefiting over 100 homes, schools and BHU.

The scheme was built at the cost of Nu.5.775 million.
